Health And Hygiene


1.HAND- WASHING IS MUST:

Hand is an integral aspect of good hygiene to eliminate contacting germs after playing outside.

2.GROOMING THEIR FINGERNAILS:

Ensure nails are clipped every week to avoid transfer of bacteria to their body.

3.ORAL HYGIENE : Proper brushing and flossing regularly to maintain oral health. 

4.HANDKERCHIEF IS THEIR BEST FRIEND: Children should be taught to cover their mouth while coughing or sneezing. 

5. CLEANING OF CLASSROOM:They should understand the importance of keeping surroundings clean.

6. FOOT- HYGIENE: Cotton lined socks should be used to avoid fungal infection.

7. DEALING WITH ILLNESS: Children should only attend school if they are well to reduce the chance of illness spreading.

8. PERSONAL HYGIENE: Children should take bath and change their undergarments on daily basis.

A. Reason behind your fatigue.

B. Lead to depression in teenagers.

C. Lead to obesity.

D. Impairs digestion.

E. Causes fluctuations in blood sugar levels.

F. Effects brain function.

G. Increase risk of life threatening diseases.

Children’s appetite varies from day to day. Some days they may eat less than these amounts; other days they may want more. Offer these amounts and let your child decide how much to eat

Note to Parents:

  • Lunches should include light meal which does not make a child lazy. 
  • Children need a wide variety of foods for a well balanced diet. 
  • Highly processed sugary, fatty and salty foods should only make up a very small portion of your child’s lunch.
  • Junk food (Noodles, Chips, Momos, Mimi) and packet food (Chips, Biscuits, etc) should not be sent for lunch.
  •  Parents are requested to send food items in a clean Tiffin box
