The Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) includes assessment in scholastic as well as
co-scholastic aspects of the pupil’s growth. Scholastic aspects include
curricular areas or subjects specific areas, whereas co-scholastic aspects
include life skills, co-curricular activities, attitudes and values. 1. Scholastic Areas
: In each year , the school will hold the exams as under:
a) For
classes I and II: At least three Evaluations will be conducted (to be
completed by June, September and
March).
b) For
classes III to X : Two terms will be arranged as follows:

Grading scale for scholastic Areas(classes I- VIII)

2. Co-Scholastic Areas: For the holistic development of the student, co-scholastic activities will be graded term-wise on a 3-point grading scale. The aspect of regularity, sincerely participation, output and team work will be the generic criteria for grading in the co-scholastic activities. A-Outstanding B-Very Good C- Fair
NOTE:
*Pupil absent from an examination without prior permission will not be examined.
*Willful breach of any of the regulations for the conduct of the examination is punishable with expulsion from the examination room or if discovered subsequently cancellation of the paper. The result of the examination is final and cannot be reconsidered.
